Hi! I’m Sarah…
I’m often asked how The Sparkk came to be, so here’s a little glimpse into the 15+ creative years that shaped it all.
Creativity has always been my compass. From school days filled with art, design, and tech, to starting mini ventures from my bedroom, I was always chasing the sparkk.
I went on to study a Bachelor of Creative Arts, majoring in Graphic Design, later adding a Cert III in Small Business Management and Interior Design. In my final year of university, I founded The Sparkk as a freelance graphic design business, and I haven’t stopped building since.
My first creative role was at Sublitech, where I spent over 8 years stepping into the role of Head Designer and Business Growth Leader. It was there I discovered my passion for the intersection of business, design, and strategy, co-founding The Fashion Society AU to support emerging fashion brands, and helping countless entrepreneurs bring their visions to life.
In 2014, I launched Kamuka, my own activewear and yoga mat brand, known for its award-winning innovation and bold prints. Kamuka taught me what it really means to build a brand from the heart, and everything that comes with running a purpose-led business.
Today, I’m also the Senior Creative Manager at Fleur & Co, a creative events agency where I get to flex my love for brand storytelling and experiential design.
And The Sparkk? It’s grown into a heart-led, multidisciplinary creative studio supporting small businesses and founders to ignite their passion. Through strategy, storytelling, and beautiful design, we help you build a brand that feels like home, with clarity, confidence, and intention.
